Early Risers

The Early Risers Club runs from 7:30am until 8:45am daily before school and offers pupils the chance to catch up on homework, complete reading quizzes, take part in a craft activity or play games. A member of staff is always on hand for any queries each morning. We do not provide food so children will need to have eaten prior to arrival.
The cost of the club is £3.50 per session. To book a session:
- Visit Arbor (on the app or website) .
- Go to accounts
- Click on Early Risers
- Top up your account before booking
- Then visit Activities>Clubs
- Select Early Risers and book the dates required
Select the days you would like your child to attend and add it to your basket and proceed to checkout. You will need to top up your account before booking.
Fireflies

Fireflies runs from 3.15pm to 5.45pm. On the last day of each term (Autumn, Spring and Summer) we close at 4.30pm.
We offer a nurturing and safe space where children can enjoy taking part in outdoor play, creative activities, games or relaxing with a book. Fireflies are based in the Junior hall or the library. Children attending Fireflies after 4.30pm, will be provided with a light snack eg sandwich, crackers, fruit, biscuit etc. The food provided is intended to keep the children going until their main meal at home with you. There is a one off registration fee of £30 per child.
If you have a younger sibling who attends Turnfurlong Infant School, you may also register them with Fireflies. We have a system in place to collect children from the Infant school and bring them to Fireflies. Please contact us on fireflies@tjs.org.uk for further information.

Once registered you need to pay a one of registration fee of £30 in the Arbor shop.
To book a session:

- Click on Fireflies
- Top up your account before booking
- Then visit Activities>Clubs
- Select Fireflies and book the dates and sessions required
You will be able to see your booked sessions on your child's calendar in Arbor or in your Invoice section.
Please note we are unable to offer refunds for cancelled sessions.
Childcare Vouchers

You need to have funds in your Early Risers and/or Fireflies account to be able to book sessions. This can be via card payments or via childcare vouchers which work in a slightly different way.
Once you have used your childcare vouchers to make a payment to the school (Turnfurlong Junior School) you need to email the school with a copy/screenshot of your remittance/copy of the transaction. Once the funds have cleared into our account, the credit will be added to your child's account balance for you to use.
